We have a vacancy for a Process Engineer who is able to deal with and influence the more strategic and tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating  business-process-related knowledge through modelling, simulating and analysing current and future states. Focus is on complex business outcomes and technical aspects, in line with the business strategy.

Candidates should be able to:

  • Design and execute process improvement initiatives, taking responsibility for individual delivery in terms of resource budget, scope and time.
  • Reduce business time and cost through process efficiencies along with requisite justification
  • Provide Process guidance to the customer including pro-active proposals
  • Providing progress reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to customers to improve initiatives.
  • Engagement on a senior level to understand their needs and provide inputs into process based solutions in order to support or influence business decisions
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Establishment of measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency (inc SLA/OLA)
  • Proactively plan work deliverables, e.g. scope, work breakdown and estimation
  • Facilitate JAD and Process Enhancement Group/Process Improvement Forum sessions
  • Perform gap analysis and due diligence
  • Provide process input into the requirements specifications
  • Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations considering the impact on the client’s experience
  • Design, define and document end-to-end process solutions, models and influencing artefacts in line with client standards, experience guidelines and best practices
  • Define and agree the Critical Success Factors and Key Performance Indicators, e.g. time standards for processes
  • Plan change deployment, administer change and implement solution
  • Provide input into the Service level agreement inc Operating Level Agreement
  • Provide input into test strategies and procedures, create process test cases, perform process testing and analyse test results
  • Monitor, deliver to plan, manage risks and issues taking corrective action. Producing progress and managerial reports
  • Ensure all processes are relevant and are reviewed regularly
  • Analyse operational/business process data to ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet business needs

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric plus relevant Tertiary qualification in Process Methodologies
  • Business degree, IT degree, Engineering degree (Industrial) – or equivalent
  • 3-7 Years relevant Process experience
  • Experience with Process modelling methods and standards
  • Experience with Process engineering methodologies (6 Sigma/ITIL/CMM)
